This is really a mighty little unit. Weighing only 6kg it can be taken anywhere.With up to 400Watts (25Amps at 15V) of regulated charging current.It can also power 12V DC loads directly due to the permanent magnet alternator being fully self exciting.Yes it's a 2 stroke engine and in this case that means simplicity and lightness.Please note that the DC outputs of this machine are at Full Capacity unlike the low wattage auxilliary DC outputs often provided with AC generator sets.If charging batteries consult the battery manufacturer's recommendations on charging voltage and current. This unit does not incorporate multi step voltage levels.
